Overview of Slack Sales Elevate
Slack Sales Elevate is a powerful integration that allows you to manage Salesforce opportunities directly within Slack. Sales Elevate should be visible in your Slack sidebar. If you do not see it yet, please reach out to IT to request access by submitting a ticket via Slack or emailing support@bigthinkcapital.com.1. Connecting Your Salesforce Account
- Click on Sales in the Slack sidebar.
- Select Connect to Salesforce.
- Sign in to your Salesforce account and click Allow to authorize the connection.
2. Viewing and Updating Salesforce Opportunities
With Slack Sales Elevate, you can quickly access and manage opportunities without leaving Slack.On Desktop:
- Click on Sales in the sidebar.
- Select View Opportunities in the top right corner.
- Choose an opportunity list or search for one using the drop-down menu.
- Click on an opportunity to view its details.
- Update any necessary fields directly from Slack.
On Mobile:
- Tap on the Home tab, then select Sales.
- Tap Opportunities.
- Choose a suggested opportunity list or search using the magnifying glass icon.
- Tap on a field to update it or use the three dots icon for more options.
- Click on Sales in the sidebar.
- Under Your insights, click Add metric.
- Select a Salesforce report link and assign it a name.
- Your metrics will now be visible under the Your insights section.
5. Searching for Opportunities and Contacts
Easily find Salesforce opportunities and contacts directly in Slack.- Click on Sales in the sidebar.
- Use the Search bar at the top.
- Enter an opportunity name, contact, or company.
- Click on the result to view details or make updates.
6. Collaborating in Slack with Sales Elevate
- You can share opportunity details in Slack channels or direct messages by clicking Share when viewing an opportunity.
- Use Slack threads to discuss deals with teammates without leaving the platform.
- React with emojis to acknowledge updates and celebrate wins.
